Default Better cam for my setup...

Im looking at either doing the LT4 kit or buying the CC-305 or even a CC-306 cam with some 1.6rr's and some crane springs. Its a lightly modded LT1 with 122k miles. Im looking at doing a 75-100 shot through the air intake shortly so would want a cam that could hang with that as well. Mods currently are :

Magnaflow Hi-flow cat
Blowmaster 80 series
K&N cai
160*
PaceSetter LT's and ORY

Looking at ordering a 3000 stall here shortly, input on the type of stall would be awesome too.

Thanks in advance.

I know that someone will contest my opinion but with that many miles and the fact that you want to spray it, I'd prolly stay with the hotcam kit

I vote cc-305 and take the heads off and port them along with the intake. Might want to check out the bottom end while its down. Just to make sure everything is ok if you do go with a 75-100 shot.
I would go with a ss3000 yank of a vig. stay away from tci. I've went through 3 of them with the lock up going out. the yank and vig. might cost more but you get what you pay for it.
122,000 miles the motor is just getting broke in just messing with ya vicious. If the car has been taken care off it should be fine. But i would get under the car and check it all out to make sure.

both of those cams are kind of old. not meaning that they are not good. but the heads are the main bottle neck on these LT1's. I would recommend getting some head work done, and then getting a cam to match the heads. the price on an LE head and cam package is acually pretty good.

Unless you can afford to rebuild the engine if it goes, I would stay away from the more aggressive cams on a 122k stock bottom end.

After having my bottom end go after a cam swap I think it would be a little wiser to at least have new rings and bearings put in just to be safe. If you got a little more money to blow buy some Speedpro pistons and spray the hell out of it. Id stay boltons with some spray, but that's just me.
