what size throttle body

what size throttle body i am going to be buying a throttle body in about a week for my lt1 and i am not sure which would be better, a 52mm or a 58mm. my car has a cc306 cam and stock heads and intake so if a 58mm is better i will be porting the holes to match the tb.

You would have to open up the intake. Could someone else chime in on this one, but arent you out breathing your stock heads? ...with a 306 and bigger throttle body

Go with a 58mm. A 52mm isnt gonna show MUCH of a difference. And since you already know that you have to port the intake up to a 58 and your willing to do it go for the 58 hands down
