Bones Z28 I know that your car is a Z28 but i was wondering i also did the newer model conversion on my 93 T/A and do you know if I am able to put on that LS1 intake assembly on my car as well without having to put in the ram aim hood?

if you have the LS1 TA hood then you can. you wont need the WS6 hood.

was there a difference between the Ta hood and the V6 hood on the underside? The outside are the same right?

i dont think so because the V6 from thoes years had a lid but i think it was lower.

one of the guys in the western section had one f/s and he had to cut the front a little on the bottom to fit the lid.

it was when i was looking for a cowl hood. i think about 4 months ago or a little less.

would a non ram air box from an LS1 camaro work? They are lower profile than the WS6 Ram Air boxs

nope. not without cutting the stock hood. youll need a cowl hood or the SLP ultra Z.

the VFN cowl wont work BTW

you can use the LT1 WS6 hood on your TA and itll work.

Yes i have the 98 TA/Formula/V6 hood. So you are saying that the low profile lid assembly will work?

yep. the hood is what makes it not feasable with the LTx stock hoods. which is why i got my cowl.
