looks like the hose that goes to the secondary air pump. you could delete that junk if your not worried about emissions inspections. Otherwise, you'll just have to "McGiver it".

i was thinking of it because the TPI uses the same oval tubing mount on the TB as the LT1 and converts it into a 3 inch round opening over only about a 4.5-5 inch reach. i will get some more accurate measurements to post up, maybe someone will know if it has a chance to work.

^^^ Looks good. I have SLP Ultra Z induction. The box and hood I got used. The bellows I bought from an Impala SS distributor. A little long but works well.

Y'all have LS1 lid conversions on your cars and haven't taken the time to delete the AIR pump? Seems like it's one of the first mods to do. Rev Z28, don't I remember you finding that breather on the side of the road???????

that's for youe AIR. You can do what I did which is get a 2002 SLP lid or another 2002 lid that comes with the hose to connect to the lid, or you can cap off your lid and pull the fuse and all to not run the AIR. Or you can do like some people and just run a smaller K&N filter for it. There's a few options.

I connected my like I said but now I'm thinking of just turning if off. It looks lame with the hose sticking out of the lid and all. btw you don't need the AIR pump to run the car lol. Idk just thought I'd mention not sure how experienced you are.

Here's my setup
