Port arrangement huh? Umm ok?

The number 1 cause of blown header gasket is an uneven sealing surface.


There are 2 options here...take the headers and have the flange trued before bolting them on...or true them and split the flange into 3 pieces. I did both on my 1 7/8 Hedman headers...no leaks with Fel Pro 1405/1407 gaskets.


I do not care if they are BRAND new...if you touch them to a belt sander I GAURANTEE you you will see high and low spots.
