I though he was supposed to come down?
I don't know seen him a few weeks ago at the local track and I haven't talked to him since.
I don't know anything about this Rhino guy's tuning, but I would take that thing to Ed Wright, Closes guy to us and he is one of the best in the world.
He is going to be tuning my car and has tuned my brothers 06 C6 and soon to be our 08 C6

Well your 1/8th mile says that was about a 12.17. Sounds like you got some stuff to figure out.

I've got almost 1000 miles on it. Pretty good in just 2 weeks..I still have to figure out the overheating problem.
Rhino is pretty good..he plays with them for a while until it's just right.

Bracket Racing, first one to the end of the Track wins..regardless.
I skunked him off the line, that's how I got it.

He was runnin out of gear too, the last 100ft I pulled away from him..I got a higher Trap Speed too.
If I was runnin Full Throttle, I would of kicked the **** out of that car..

Don't get bothered by the negative comments.

Thats alot of time and money you have invested in that car/motor/project and I would work my way up the same way. Get the motor broken in nice, have the adjustments done and get the car running great.

After the car feels good and you feel its ready to sink its teeth into the pavement, then go after that 10 second slip.

Good luck Merv and congrats on the ride.

As soon as I get my car runnin im there! One of my buddies ran into the guy that used to own my car (The one that built it im assuming, who sold it to the lady i bought it from, who did not know too much about it) on accident and they started talking apparently the car is already a 383 with a monster cam and stall and LE2 heads(I already knew the stall just not what size and also knew the heads)... and he believes it just has a blown head gasket... so that leaves me one less thing to worry about the new build! He also said it was a 10 second car for sure! Im really excited to get back and get to work on it so I can get my *** up there! It has been way way way too long. Im ready to

I'm not worried about anything...
What was real funny was we were at the track, all the LS1 guys were running 10.70's and up..even some of the Cam'd guys. I took it on one pass and pulled that 10.15 just bs'n around..those that knew what I was doin were like damn..
All the LS1 guys just **** themselves..the "LT1" guy just smoked them..
