I was just wanting some assistance on choosing my next mod for my LT1.I was thinking about UDP's but I have hear of too many charging probs with them.I dont think it would be worth the 1-2 HP any way.I am debating on
3:73 gears or maybe some pacesetter headers.Any ideas from you guys would be helpful.Trying to knock about .2 off the car for around $200-$300.

Gears are really fun. I put 4.10s in my car, completely different feeling. With a M6 you are looking at barely turning about 2200 rpm at 70 in 6th, so you aren't really sacrificing anything. Well maybe traction.

 

I know most LT1 owners prefer 4:10's because they do allow for better ET's but I dont want to short live my Diff by going too big.The car is a DD.

 

I don't know about how much you are going to short live the diff, I mean look at it this way. Gears apply horsepower in a more aggressive way by keeping your motor revved higher gear to gear, the headers will just apply more horsepower to them all the time.

 

Gears 1'st, realy woke my car up.
