When I get the next first off hopefully in about a week if everything's ok they should be out for sale in about 30 days.

For all the people complaining about the wait on these headers, look at the date that this thread was created: 8-30-07. The final decision to make these headers didn't happen until enough votes for what type was most in demand had accumulated in the poll, which was even another month after that.

Taking that and the OP's last status update into account, if these headers debut in February, that's only about a 5 month lead time, which is friggin warp speed compared to how long some other companies who've developed parts for the LT1 have taken.

Anybody remember the MSD Pro-Billet Optispark before it came out? It only took about 2 years to R&D from the time they announced they were making it till the time it finally hit the market, and even still ended up having the release date pushed back 3 times.

Don't even get me started on the Edelbrock Airgap Intake farce...

I've talked to several guys who own the LS1 version of these headers, and they've all had nothing but good things to say about them, which is reassuring considering how **** alot of LS1 owners can be about the quality of their parts. I wouldn't expect anything different with the LT1 version.

Even with this ridiculously long wait , I'm still pretty stoked about these being made.

I am not complaining.
My headers are falling off the car, literally.
I am willing to buy a pre-production set if I could.
I really want these but I doubt my old ones will last till their release.

I agree. If he rushes them and they suck, people are going to be all over him for that, so let him have the time it takes to make it right.

Well a week has nearly passed Please don't forget to snap a few photos this time...no matter how ugly these mild steel prototypes are. I'm really curious about the general tube layout.

Please keep us posted.

I'm with this guy. I now have cash in hand ready to buy a set. Even if they aren't quite ready for production it would nice if we could at least get an update of some kind.

Might as well take me off of any waiting list there might be. I'm going with a manifold instead of a header..............

Sorry I'm like you guys I'm still waiting on the new sample to make sure it fits right. Sorry but I have to wait just like you guys do. They make alot of products and at the end of the year their just like alot of other companys the have lots of new things they are working on for the new year. Just as soon as I get the next new sample I will post pictures of it for everyone.
