Default AC & PS Delete

What is the easiest and cheapest way to delete the ac compressor and ps pump? I did several searches and didn't come up with much. While looking through some of the vendors sites, I found an alternator relocation kit from SJM, but it's a little bit pricey for my taste. I might have to just fab up something myself after I finish moving at the end of the month.

For the PS i dont know but for the A/C its pretty simple, all you need is a A/C delete pulley(p/n: 10115875)

Thanks for the part number. I knew there was an ac delete pulley available, but the ps pump would still be a problem because of the alternator location.

I made an alternator relocation bracket and removed everything from the front of the motor except the crank pulley and the alternator pulley, which now sits at the lower passenger side of the motor. I got rid of the large cast aluminum bracket that the alternator, AC, and PS used to be mounted to. Frees up a lot of space.

i deleted everything off my motor. I made my own bracket for my alt. and mounted it lower. Looped the PS lines and yuor good to go. Youll be amazed at how much faster it revs with all that gone. And i made my own ABS delete, just buy a line lock and some $5 line from Autozone and its real easy.........

Thanks Guys! The pics are great, that's exactly what I needed. The abs delete is also on my list.

Taubr, did you get any track times on that beast of yours yet? I'm anxious to here what she runs.

Yea, i went to home depot and bought a adj. turn buckle thing. I bought a sbc alt. mount but had to mod it a little to make it work. Our lt1 alternators are not the same size as a reg. sbc. So i hung it off a head bolt and got it bolted on the bottom also then use the turnbuckle to tighten it. Never slips or throws a belt and i rev it to 7k! All in all MINT. I just did this all last fall so my mind is still pretty fresh with all the info if you guys need more.
