The RX7 was a new run. I do have a run with Shawns car Vs my 2007 Buell XB12 Scg 1200 and guess who wins? not me......... i will post our 11.3 run very soon. New runs coming on a weekly basis. Just an old video of a Stock LT1 compilation of our car for all of those enthusiasts who love LT1's which you two LS1 enthusiasts have grown so much to hate and I cant blame you judging by your encounters and observations with them.

BTW I'm calling BS on the 11.3 till the video is posted, with camera zooming in at the time :p. Not some scrolling text that says the time. 11.8 is hard enough to believe, but if that Z ran 11.3 I've wasted a hell of a lot of time with the N/A heads and cam thing, maybe I should ditch it and just get some nitrous. Bolt-on 150 shot LT1s are literally everywhere, and I have never seen one anywhere near low 11s. I have seen people grenade 10bolts spraying out the hole though
Sure its quick in the 1/8, LT1s always are, but I just dont see such a common build cutting a second off everyone else with the same mods in the 1/4. Online conversion calculators do not factor head flow, cam rpm range, gearing, etc. Just some cookie cutter math to estimate 1/4 times from 1/8.
She seems healthy, keep doing your thing and throwing on the mods

so almost sea level in TX its beleivable, props to ya'll
BTW we stepped up to a 175 hit and the LT1 blew up BAAAAD no piston in #8 hole, nice window in the block too.

my stock shortblock LT1 has gone a 6.61@102 so far in the 1/8 with a 125 shot. it went 7.13@98 n/a. 230/236 cam, mild diy head porting.
i havent gotten it down the 1/4 yet.

BTW I live in Florida, home of the sea level or lower tracks . Once it cools down around here the tracks are a drag racers paradise.

Agreed on several points.... 1) Too much annoying scrolling, 2) Loud music drains out the lovely sound of raw horsepower, 3) 1/8-mile tracks never are all that impressive to true drag racers, 4) No actual view of time / time slips.
Apart from that, nice vid.

are you kidding me?
man you say that in my area and the guys running in the 4's will lynch you. so what makes you a true drag racer? you run prostock or top fuel? it takes just as much to run the 1/8th as the 1/4. the only differance will be in the rearend/tranny gears and maybe tire size. so tell me why the someone running in the 4's wouldn't be a "true drag racer". how old are you?

This is a recent flyby.... for those of you who love the sound of raw power. Here is the sound of one raw LT1.
