that's great, but all of them have to turn it into a 383 or 396 to get those times.. IMO
Stock Eliminator guys running 10's on 350 Shortblock using stock parts.
Hows that for ya.

when you up the cubes, you're as much of an LT1 as an LS1
We actually have more cubes that the Factory LS1?????

I'm talking about the guys on the other thread posted up further, they're all either running 383's, 396's or a power adder, although it didn't say what CI the guy with the turbo had.

And I wasn't comparing the LT1 to LS1 in comparison of cubes, I just meant that a 383/396 is not even an LT1 anymore in my books.. just like an LS1... isn't an LT1 either.... *watches as everything I just said flies over your head*

a strokeder motor is as much a lt1 as a factory motor. The cubes do not make it a lt1..or not a lt1.

Um, my 383 is an LT1. Simply boring or stroking a motor does not change it's platform. Same block, same heads, etc. How is it not an LT1 still?

Since we are talking about 383's and 396's, I have a question for you guys who have done this.

What kind of HP/Tq increase would say, a bolt on car get from just going to a full 383/396 Rotating Assembly?

Dyno-Flo's 383 Kit: $699.00

-Good to 500HP
-Eagle Cast Steel / Nodular Iron Crank 3.48 Stroke
-2pc rear main seal 3.75 (external balance)
-Probe FPS Forged Pistons Flat Top 10:8 64cc
-Eagle SIR Press Pin 5140 Forged Steel rods 5.7"
-Mahle Moly Performance Ring Set
-King Performance Bearings Rods and Main

And what is the difference between a crank with a 3.48 stroke, compared to a crank with a 3.75 stroke? How does this affect the hp/tq curve?

LMFAO its still an LT1, same ****, as long as your using the LT1 block, its an LT1, same for LS1, now if its an LT1 style camaro with an older chevy sb thats carbed or something, then its not an LT1/LS1 lmfao, so my 388 aint no LT1? Sure looks just like the factory motor.
