trickflows flow really well but you have to mill them and/or run a domed piston or they will drop your compression down.

Stock heads can make well over 400 rwhp if the rest of the engine is decent. My 355" makes 460+ rwhp, with stock valve sizes, stock compression, bone stock virgin salvage yard intake manifold, stock TB, and a fair sized solid roller. The heads have a decent valve job and a quicky bowl blend, nothing else. That is through a 5500/6000 non-lock up converter. A clown like myself blending the bowls isn't worth a ton of power. Stock eliminator LT1s make over 400 rwhp with hydraulic rollers and no cylinder head or intake manifold work all the time. I probably need another 40 to 50 rwhp for it to run like I need it to.

Wonder why they would make the chambers larger so you would loose compression? Can they be milled enough to get it back? Doesn't make much sense if you can't, does it? I have noticed both those and AFRs need more timing. Don't think that's good. Certainly not as efficient.

They are designed for boosted applications. In my case, I have 11.8:1 compression right now due to the pistons and my block decked to zero. The large combustion chamber would be good to get me down towards 11:1 where I would rather be.
