Default another cam choice

hey guys, right now i have untouched LT4 heads and hotcam and i almost dont want to tell people its a h/c/i motor. going the budget route, im going to have my heads ported but what should i use for a cam, i know a cc503 is good for ported stocks heads, would this be a wise choice?

I recommend that you talk to your head porter of choice and go over what you want out of your combo and all the details

I second this answer...but the 503 is a very good choice IMHO.

Depending on the port job and the rest of your setup, I'd say go bigger than the 503. Just remember, bigger isn't always better and you don't have your other mods or goals listed so there's no way for us to recommend anything.

custom ground =is best but not always the cheapest, i know you said a friendly budget but if i had to do it over i would spend the extra dough on a custom cam

set your goals on an e.t., not rwhp. we dont have dyno queens like supras but we do go down the track fast.
