Default Wheel Spacers

Does anyone know how well these work? WIll i loose any power or risk the ssnapping of my rearend? Im wanting to get about a half in wider on the rear tires, this seems like a good way of doing so

I wouldn't do it. I have seen too many shear off their wheel studs on the starting line.

The general concensus is "NO!!!!" but that's when I was a big truck guy, not a car guy. I'm not sure how safe they are for cars. Trucks were a totally diff ball game. I'd still be cautious of cheaper ones.

Yea, the new spacers are great, but when they first arrived there were some flaws.

ill have to wait and see if i get them or not. Im still debating on what to do with my springs, either leave the car dropped and keep the stance. Or reinstall my stock springs and get some spacers? Not sure if anyone wants springs that drop a car 1.8in. Still thinking about it....

Some were out of round and rode like a bent wheel, the newer ones have been machined to perfection.

Yea you can, allot of my LS1 buddys with 17x11s with 335s on the back only have problems with the bump stop on the rear end hitting those fat bastards when jacking the car up. That is doing tons of street abuse, even track.

You don't have to beat on it to break them off, all you need to do is hit a nice size bump and they are finished.
