I bought my 97 WS6 3 years ago with the same mileage for the same price I would say 6K is fair.

I recently sold my '95 Formula w/79k and the same mods for $8,000 so I think you should be able to get a good amount since its a WS6 and all.

Really depends where you live and what the buyer is looking for, you can live in Redneck **** kickin hick ville where they have no money so everything is cheaper.

As long as its a real WS.6 car in CT you could ask for a easy 9k and prob get it. So just take that into consideration. You just dont want to low ball yourself.

My dumbass brother bought a 97 Ws6 with maybe 50-75k miles for $10k a year ago. I tried several times to convince him he was getting had, but he wouldn't listen.

Moral of the story: you can ask whatever you want if you find the right buyer (read - sucker)

$8000-$9000 if it's in great condition. The car has relatively low miles and is a WS6 plus it's got light mods.

I don't know where people are getting $6000 or a little under 6000 from.

You can't gauge prices based on ebay. Ebay cars usually sell for less than at a dealer or private party.

yea seriously... i was thinking the same thing. Around here, you can't find an LS1 Trans Am for under 11,000 and an LT1 Trans Am under 6,000. Everything like that is selling for around 8 or 9. If you detail it out, and really try to advertise and promote the car, you can make 8,000 easy, especially if it's nicely modified. good luck with the sale.
