oil pressure some times my car idles at 40 and sometimes 20.. i belive its a bad guage i think i need to get it cheekd out. any one have the same problem or ideas. doesnt sound like it runs any diffrent

That's normal. What weight oil are you using? Does the pressure climb with RPM? You're looking for at least 15 psi at hot idle and 10 more psi for every 1k RPM.
What usually goes bad is the sender, not the gauge. It should be located right above the oil filter on your car, IIRC. If not, check the back of the intake. If it's bad, it will usually just read 0 or peg out, though.
