800-1100 depending on where you shop and how in depth you get with parts and supporting mods.

When I put my 306 in I just bought the cam, retainers, keepers, springs, double roller timing set. I got it all from summit racing and I paid $800

Do yourself a favor and do more research. Besides being too big that cam exhibits fairly poor drivability even compared to other cams of similar size, lots of surge. Seen a couple guys with T56 cars put that cam or similar ones in and endup hate driving the car inside a few months.

I don't notice any drivability problems with my 306. I tuned it myself and used the blm locker to control the blm's from splitting at idle. I have a 3600 stall and raised the tcc lockup a little but don't notice any surging. With a manual at lower rpm it could be a problem as noted. It sounds great and you can put one in for around $800. Mine was still pulling good at 6500 on stock heads. I know there is more in it if I have the heads ported.

You will see better results from using a smaller cam, likely on a tighter LSA.

if you just want a big lope and a very streetable cam, you could go with the time-honored cc503, and get a lower LSA (that would add some lope, but it would stay very street worthy)
