I was filling my radiator this morning while the car was running. There were a lot of bubbles coming out of the water and the water level was going down. It will not stay full and there are no leaks. Later on I am going to take a compression test and then drain the oil. One of my friends told me that it sounds like a head gasket. Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of diagnosing a head gasket by seeing bubbles coming out of the coolant while the car is running.

Its tough to get all of the air out of an LT1 coolant system, so if the coolant level was low you may have bubble in it.
However, you seem to be adding significant amounts of coolant and state (NO LEAKS) so it has to be going somewhere:
I'd do the following checks before digging into the engine
Pull the dip stick and look at the condition of the oil, you should be able to see coolant contamination of your oil if its significant.
check exhuast for white smoke/steam
Seemingly small leaks can be bigger when the car is on the road and the engine is loaded so check every where for leaks, ......do you smell coolant anywhere?
Is the carpet wet on the passenger side?
If nothing pans out I'd go to:
pull and check plugs condition/compression test
coolant test for combustion gases
pressure test the cooling system

I looked at the oil and it seemed a bit thin. But no antifreeze mixture. then i bled the system again and so far everything is good. I drove it and it never went past 195-200. I am going to drive it again a lil later. I think It just had air in it. I actually made a taller bleeder for it so it is a lil easier than it was in stock form.
