Default AC Problem

I tried a search but did not work. My AC quite. The compressure wont come on and it seems to be full of freon but one of my ends on my gauge is bad and could not get a good seal to make sure it is charged. I also noticed that the cooling fans don't come on when you turn the air on. I checked the relays and they are good and the fuse is good. My fans did come on when the fan switch kicked them on ( I have a Jet fan switch). Does the compressure have to be on for the fans to come on? I thought the fans came on when you turned the air on if the compressure was on or not? Does anybody have any idea's? The only other thing I can think of is it might need some oil?

try manualy jumping the compressor relay and check for power at the clutch and hook it up and see if it comes on. Sometimes they'll set and a/c code but no ses light. I had mine do that to me reset it and it worked fine.

So just reset my computer. And why does the fans not come on is it cause the compressor is not on?

94Z28Joe was right I unhooked my battery and reset the computer. It works now I was surprised it did not throw the SES light.

the a/c system will not turn on if there is a low charge, or a high charge. :p
