cpt ........ fank built mine like more than a year ago before they were doing tne steel pistons in the 4l60e and when mine burned up he took care of it and worked with me on pricing an when i talked to him he didn't bullshit me and he knows his ****

I doubt any of us knew you were a lady until you said something. But I also agree with the , "take advice from people with experience" post. 3 months is not long enough to have a tranny and give it some input. Ive had mine for just over a year and 16k miles (rebuilt localy) and its doing pretty good.

Your right I think I forgot to mention that my CPT tranny has held up to a lot of abuse for over past 3+ years now...

The reason I made the TIME comment is I had a local rebuild at one point, lasted 16 months and there would not even consider a discount on a rerebuild. I was happy with that tranny for the first year.

FWIW I believe Rossler now has a trans brake for the 4L60E which is another reason I would consider him.

Screw it I just sent the car over to the shop redoing everything. Just got it back too... Super Charging, new rear end, LT 4 heads and intake, having a new top and rims and tires put on. OH and new tranny put in. If everything is good to go take it a dyno hoping I make close to 725-750hp when im done. Should with the money thatis already in her!!!! Thanks a bunch

well a "new" tranny probably wont last behind 750 hp. your gonna need a performance built one, not just a rebuilt stocker.

Forged bottom running 12 on the boost engine in 350 bored 40 over custom stroker kit from Black Diamond NO bottle if it ain't steel it ain't real thats how I look at it. Everything changed nothing stock on the car other than tranny and rear end which is getting changed now.
