when you say LT1 tranny, do you mean 4l60e? or do you mean the best tranny that will work with an LT1, such as a th350 or 400?

not sure if they are a sponsor but.....

If I did not build the fastest 4L60Es around my area I would ONLY buy them from CPT. I would trust no one else. He builds them much like I do

I don't do mail order don't ask

You are going to want to ignore responses like this, this is a 16yo kid who has a WEAK car and has had the Performabuilt for a month or two, completely meaningless reply.

I have over 3.5 years(fourty some odd thousand miles) on my Probuilt Automatics, know he has several customers running 9s on 4L60Es.

FLT always gets good reviews.

Rossler is the man who built the most heavily abused 4L60E I know of, it sits behind a 434ci donovan "LT1", blown and a small shot of nitrous for 146mph trap speeds in a 4400lbs. Impala. Just friggin amazing.

I am completely happy with ProBuilt and have no plans to use anyone else, but for a "money's no object" 800+hp goal I think Rossler would be my first call, the Impala I mentioned is well over that power and the owner(Jeff Green) has been very pleased with Rossler's work.

Don't just look for people to say someone is good, look for results and TIME, people are far too quick to present a positive review based on way too short a test, with trannies in particular I have seen a lot of guys happy for a few months and then 6-12 months later, very unhappy.

Thankx for the advice its hard for a girl to get good advice around here without anyone saying I want to hook up with the guys. (Not that every guy thinks that way) but when you have close to 10 grand in your baby you want the best advice you can get and no one around here where I live can build worth ****.

how about this

Three years 25k miles 4,200Lbs with 700/700 HP/TQ Blown Trans Am running mid tens wheels up and running road races.

Took it apart for open road race and it was still like new. Put it back together with the same three year old parts and won the Bonneville 100 120 class.

Sorry I will keep building my own

I had the link to that site in my sig and it was removed by the mods so not sure if that link will stay or not since they are not a sponsor...

But since you asked about personal experiance, Personally I thing Frank at CPT builds some of the best trannies out there, and I am more then happy with mine...

I can't quite put my finger on the tone of that comment, but I personally could care less if someone who posts a question if male, female, or any mix of the 2. If they are here looking for help with their car and asking questions on a subject I know about, then I try to answer...
