Front plates on LT1 cars

Yup, the front plate sucks *****. Just looks weird. When I was still in the military, and had it on base, they made you abide by any local laws whether or not the local law enforcement cared. Hawaii and California, your supposed to use the front plate but locals didn't. Unfortunately then, I was stuck with it and figured oh well.... My sig pic was taken with I had the front plate in CA. FORTUNATELY, Now I'm out and in Florida, and they only give you ONE (1) plate for the rear... woohooo!

I agree that any car looks better without plates - front or back - they always give the appearance of an afterthought. If they weren't required I would definitely remove it. But as far a NJ goes - it sure isn't worth giving the PD a reason to pull you over by not displaying it.

Yeah, I recently had a post in the appearance forum about this. Unfortunatley here in VA we've gotta have it. I was just searching for a tasteful way to mount it. Maybe there will be more traffic on this here. I came up with this as my best choice.

I've been pulled over by the Highway Patrol and local police and so far neither one has cared with it in the windshield... and if they do ask why I don't have it on the front I'll either play dumb, or tell him mine didn't come with a mounting bracket (original Virginia car, evidently they don't/didn't have to have front plates). Who cares, it's like getting an illegal tint job, its the risk you run.
