Default is it safe to drive my car???

i just installed a gm847 cam and im wondering because im changing my fuel injectors to 30# SVO injectors, would i be able to drive without damaging my engine because i will be running TOO rich...or should i wait till i get a tune

Put the 24's back in it and drive it around. It doesn't take long to swap them. They'll support 350+ rwhp anyway. . .

I think it should be fine, just make sure you need a injector that size, you can wash out rings in the cylender, but it usually is a poorly tuned carb or a huge injector running rich due to bad O2s.

sorry to thread highjack, but where did you buy the blackout tailights? i am having trouble finding them...

Use your stockers till you get a tune. Why risk it when they shouldnt have a problem?

USE YOUR STOCKERS UNTIL YOU GET A TUNE...otherwise the rings are goana get worn down and your car will smoke until you remove it and rebuild it...
theres no need for 30's for a cam only car anyways...you should be fine until after 375 hp

they are not blacked out tail lights, they are just plastic covers that simply snap on over the stock tail light.

i know, thats what i meant, I can't find those covers anywhere...I had them on my camaro, and those are abundant, but I can't find the firebird ones...

actually they are...somewhat...because i sprayed it with lens tint spray...@ $25 a can...and my tails are without a clearcoat...

and thanks for the info i'll wait till i get a tune...even though i'm running a wet shot i thought i would go w/ the 30's...so for future mod's i wouldn't have to change them
