96caprice, thanks for the numbers! I cant believe flowmaster flows soo little. I was looking at the DynoMax Ultra-Flo SS and think I will give it a try. Im always optomistic so maybe it will be worth my while. From those numbers nothing will be worse than the flowmaster. How do the dynomax's sound?

thats the difference with the flo's i have, mine are the "RACE" 1 chamber
design.
prior to my duals i had no cats 2.5" y-pipe, a 2 chamber 3"in/out w/3" tailpipe and i put a borla style cut out on and i ran 2mph faster in the 1/4.

Since I dont have duals and dont see myself doing them. Would it be wise to maybe do their crossflow? or to even do a bullet style and run 1 in/out then by the rear of the car do a custom y-pipe with 2 tips? I like the 2 tips in the rear and dont want to get rid of them. Or is their crossflow good enough?

the crossflow design should be the last muffler to ever use.

But I dont have my LT's yet and dont want to do true duals. So Ill just do their bullet design and run a y-pipe to my dual tips.

whats wrong with running true duals w/o headers
at least they are already there and is easy to mod the pipes for collectors
when you do install the Lt's.

I wont have LT's untill december time at the soonest. Im trying to budget things out as well. Just bought a cut out, so true duals would just make that investment a waste.
