Default do you car a favor

like the title says do yourself a favor and don't run it with so little mods you will only be putting pointless wear on your car and it will be slow anyway.

No offense.

Some people like myself like to know what before and after looks like on mods.

And getting parts overnighted from jahh-pahn . If your just on street tires and an average driver I'd say you'll go around 14.0 @ 101ish.

thats stupid, dont listen to him. its about going to the track and havin fun, not about being the fastest guy there. i guess he is saying to just baby your car since you dont have a 383 with h/c package and a 150 shot, no need for the "pointless wear"

okay he said any input is great. That was mine, I know its fun running your car and I didn't mention thats my opinion if thats his DD. BTW lilblack that chip is a resistor that your can pick up at your local radioshack or electrical dept. /Hardware store.

And yeah why would you take your car to the track (assuming that he thinks it will be fast) after basically welding a muffler on and He isn't running to get a baseline number hes already his mods so How the heck is that a "baseline"

First I am all for going to the track and having a good time, my wagon has been down the track because the Caprice was in some way immobilized, sure people laughed when they saw a gold woody Buick pull too the line, then they were shocked that a massive boat like this ran mid 15s, best kill of the night was an '04 Impala with the 3.8L blower motor. Had a great time.

That said you need to start researching before you do mods.
A K&N filer in a stock intake is almost pointless, Flowmasters are pretty crappy, stock cats are decent so you would not have gained a lot there, and the gorillazchip is a pure scam.

Do yourself a favor and stop making so many mistakes.

A CAI even a homemade one with PVC from Home Depot is a good mod, on the exhaust with what you already spent you would have been further ahead to buy a cheap catback kit, Jegs has one for the b-body that is only like $250 and we have true duals so there has to be something that cheap for the f-body.

One of our local Imp SS club guys ran the identical in his Roadmaster wagon, bone stock. I was slightly impressed. His first time down the track to boot.
