Accel Adj FPR bolts right up stock like. I didn't buy it tune with but I did set it at 43.5 psi with the vac line off. It was probably half what a new GM cost (got it used of course).

A new stocker can be had for like $35, less than any aftermarket I am aware of and less than even the aftermarket ones that just convert the stocker.

If you intend to try and tune with a regulator just set your car on fire now because you are too stupid to do things right.

Take the time to LEARN what happens, you lean out the tune by lowering fuelk pressure and given a few street miles the pcm sees the leaner condition at part throttle and corrects, as a matter of safety though even though it can not monitor WOT fueling it still adds fuel at WOT over and above programming based on the lean cruise it could see.
Basically if that guy had gone for a 20 mile drive and redyno'd the gains would have been gone.
Computer tuning is THE ONLY right way to retune for mods with these cars, if you refuse to accept that do not mod the car, period.

I am not saying adjustable regulators offer no uses just that if you think they are a tuning tool you are dead wrong, they are a fuel system component.

Last time i checked gm parts direct list them at 65+ shipping, I have a brand new set of accel 30lb injectors that were given to me, should i use a regulator or tune it?

get a tune. like he said if you try to tune with a regulator the computer will adjust it back and you'll never get anywhere.
