April sounds good to me also, and i'm all for the KC track. The paypal idea should work out well for everyone and $50-60 is a fair price. If you need help with anything else just pm me and i'll do what I can.

Are you renting the track just for those 70 cars? Thats $2,800.00

We are getting charged about $3,500

If we charge say $60 per person. It would only take 58 cars to pay for the track. If 100 cars pre-pay and register that would leave $2,520.00 (after the track is paid) for payouts, nice trophys, door prizes, wet t-shirt contests (j/k).........etc which would make an awesome event. I think $50-$70 would be a fair price for this kind of event. It will be even better when the sponsors chip in.

Right now it is hard to estimate how many cars will show up. That makes it difficult to know what to charge for pre-pay.

And since I am not out to make a profit for this event if a lot more people pre-pay or show up we could use the remainder of the money for payouts, prizes, charity.....etc. We could make a vote on that. It looks like we will have some sponsors pitching in as well. know PortPros and Nitrous Outlet would like to help. Let me know if any other companies would like to sponsor or help the event.
That's definitely the way to go. And the pre-pay should be non-refundable to avoid people backing out and then all the money disappearing. $50 is not all that much. I would pre-pay $50 even if I wasn't 100% sure I could make the event.

Then I guess you can pay mine too
I'll be in for around $50.00, but not if its non-refundable.

It will be non-refundable unless we back out on having the event from low participation. If that happens everyone will be refunded minus the paypal fee.

If I prepay and my car isn't back together can the entry fee be used to get me thru the gates so that I can meet some of you guys?

The way the Tosto's do it is you pay to race, but all spectators get in free. It's much easier that way, and you actually get a bunch of fans out there to watch. I would suggest we do the same with this event.

Spectators will come if they have to pay 5-10 dollars as well and that money can be used for extra track prep, extra time, pay outs etc. we will need all we can get beleve me.

Pre-pay works for me. I am willing to put up the cash even if I don't make it. I want to see this go down

I think we need to go with the pre-pay of $60. We should be able to get atleast the 58 cars needed by the end of the year.

Tony - If it's KCIR I'm def. in. I'm sure Josh (Ponyhntr) is as well.

Is it going to be a index event with test and tune or what? I'm only a 13 sec race but I'm def. going to be there. Should be a fun time.
