Good luck!
note: the delteq still uses utilizes the the "opti" part of the optispark

HHHHMMMMMMM, i heard i can somehow use a LT1 pcm and convert it to a GEN III without a PCM swap, is this true??? Hell, if i can use a EFI setup on the bastard with a GEN I i would even do that...any suggestions??? Think i will use a ZZ4 cam, they are only 90$ and would be great for a DD.

For those who are not quite in tune with the LTx system I will say one thing. The OPTI "IS" the foundation of the entire system. With out it the system is usless
Delteq and LTCC have been tried and semi successful.
The DELTEQ would not run in any way shape or form for any period of time and Bret(PEPE') had the same issues with the LTCC.
BOTH of which still need the OPTI to work.
the best alternitive is to convert the intake to use a MSD short Crab cap for crank trigger. The down fall is most times you can not get the distributor back out with out pulling the intake or Engine.
I am still looking at this option when i install my Hogans

You mean the LS1 Coils?
The Signal for them comes from the PCM..there are 4 wires on each side from the PCM.
Pink goes to the Coils for Power, then the different color ones are grounded out through the PCM, that completes the Circuit when it needs to fire that Cylinder.
I don't see it happening with the LT1 PCM..

Guys this is an incompetent wrench who keeps blaming the parts he messes up, simple as that.
Far as the ZZ4 cam, had one for awhile, with cats on the car most people mistook it for stock as well as it idled. I really would not bother with it though, especially not in an f-body. The Lingenfelter 211/219 is about as small as I would recommend, that cam WORKS and is far too often overlooked.

Seems to me you put the heads on just weeks ago? Perfect opotunity to get dirt in the engine.
What do I know though, I just manage to keep my car up and running FAST. A big part of being sucessful in modding cars is admitting when you make a mistake and learning from it.

Well, i might go back LT1 if it seems to hard to have a distributor in the back, what is the minimum mileage of a used LT1 you guys would recommend for installing a hot cam. I will definitely go with a bit more ***** in the valve train area while i am in the process.
