I concurr 12s will be had with 3.73 and at least a 3200 stall. A good stall - Yank.
And yes, if you plan on continued abuse or further mods save for the 12 bolt/Dana/9" rear.
My 3.73 Auburn 7.5" lasted one season at Lebanon after the 3800 stall went in.
Nitto's are ok - but i love the MT Drag radial. As mentioned - get the hook and your only a couple tenths away....
