Pretty happy with track results!
Went tonight to route 66 and was expecting to go slower, I think with some fine tuning(I tune the car myself)I could get it to 12 flat! I only have my shift point set at 5800 (I did it for break in on the new motor and to learn how to set up my shift points) so I think I can let them out to 6500. When the car went on the dyno right after the new motor I built, It was still pulling power all the way up to 6200 rpm so it must pull to 6500 easily. The only thing I wasnt happy about was the MPH, but with some tunning it should go up. Unfortunatly the season is comming to an end but I will be at the track in a couple of weeks and again in a couple more. Well hears the time slip, I was 22 and left side.

i put a holeshot 2400 stall in mine and it dropped my 60' by .2 sec's(from a 2.25 to 2.05). havent made a complete run due to the tranny not shifting right but before i couldnt pre-load at all. clean car, and yes i agree with the top end MPH. not all that good considering you only gained 20 mph in 1/8 mile.

^^^I have a 230/236 565/565 on a 112, comp custom ground cam. I have stock heads/intake port & polished by a local guy that does awesome work at a great price. The same machine shop did my engine, after I had spun a couple rod bearings. They reground my crank, did aline hone on the mains and honed the cylinders. I assembled the motor myself and put it in.

im sure your shiftpoints are holding you back alot...I am looking into getting a comp 230/236 cam for my next lt1 project, how is it as far as driveability? i had a cc503 in my last t/a with p+p heads,LTs,etc...after the engine was broken in i wasnt sure where to shift at, so i was shifting around 5800 as well...after running dead even with my friends LT1 that ran 13.6, i realized i neeeded to shift higher...we raced again with me shifting at about 6200-6300 (going off of factory tach) it was a completely diff race. i guarantee you'll pick up a decent amt of mph with changes in your shiftpoints...i would wait until you are comfortable enoguh with it being broken in first though.
