Default Rocker Problem?

Im posting this for a friend while hes in the hospital. Last week he was resealing his valve cover gasket and he noticed something. One of the rockers was bellow all the other ones. All the other ones were sitting up and level, the one was about 1/4-1/2 inch below all the others. Any suggestions?

Mike

Well it's gonna be hard to tell without looking at the problem in person but if you've got one that's sitting "low," that's the first thing that popped into my head. Is it low on the valve or low in the back? Has the car been driven like this or what? Are there subsequent problems? This is somewhat vague.

I just got back from the hospital and he said it is sitting low on the spring. I assume its been driven, he said it drives good though.

Maple-I spoke to him he informed me to get the phone and send it out if he isnt out of the hospital by tomorrow morning. I will get back to you. Sorry about this.

Are these stock rockers? Have they been adjusted before? Could it simply be that this valve is open???

Theyre crane rockers. What do you mean adjusted. He said the valve could be open. He said it just looked odd to him.

Well if they're aftermarket rockers, then someone adjusted them. I was basically trying to see if they were too tight. Post a pic of this cuz this isn't really going anywhere.

sounds to me like you guys need to deal with this through pm's or some other medium...easy to understand a person is upset if they lost money or something but simply put this not the place...as to the rocker issue can he get a picture

Let Paypal have it. That's the best bet. However, note they will only work for you on the actual receipt of the item. If it's off Ebay, they won't work with you on the quality of the item, only actual receipt (found out the hard way).
