Anyone ever relocate the ABS Module in the engine bay?

It'll amaze you how much more responsive the brakes are and how much harder you can get on them before they lock up, idk if you've driven one of these cars without it and just a proportioning valve (which is what we did). Definitely a big improvement
Personally I think ABS does nothing for safety cuz it doesn't allow you to actually brake. All it really does is ensure that what you are about to hit, that you hit it head on. I think I would come out better locking the brakes up and steering the slide. I don't know how the electronic steering program works on my VW, but they don't call it ABS. It's pretty advanced I think. I have never locked it up and you can't feel the pedal fighting you so I don't know what it does. the abs isnt badass in lt1 cars but its more than good...works fine for me and ill be keeping it...
ls1 brakes help with brake fade...
good pads help A LOT....
properly breaking them in (rotors/pads) is a MUST!!!!
and replacing brake fluid every 6 months should be done...

Like I said your must not have worked. We have this thing called 'rain' here. ABS really shines in it

YES I have driven 4th gens with out it right after I converted them. Feels exactly the same as before only there is no safety of ABS
