Default Do I need LS1 brake lines to swap LS1 Front Brakes onto my LT1?

Need to know if I can use my earl's stainless LT1 lines with ls1 front brake upgrade (spindles, calipers, rotors)?

Shouldnt need to at all, I used my stock lines. Hopefully you earls are longer to give more slack when turning.

You want to might have to reuse your LT1 hubs since the ABS connectors arent identical. Its just 4 bolts, so no big deal.

Or, could a guy just cut and splice the newer style connector onto the harness?

My only gripe with that would be that you dont know if the new hubs are good till you drive on them. I tried using the LS1 ones that came with the spindles only to find that one was shot and I have to swap it out anyways. If you know your stock hubs are good, reuse them.

As others have mentioned your LT1 brake lines will work. You might want to bend the tab that connects the metal line to the rubber line for more slack when turning but the LT1 lines will work.

You CAN Also use the LS1 Hubs Because ABS connectors are the SAME! But as Bersaglieri said beware of the hubs that you get because the abs speed sensor may not work i too found out that one of mine didnt work so i had to swap in a old one.
