Default Stumbling LT1

Ok my car is in the sig. It did this before the engine swap so all of that can be ruled out along with OPTI and fuel filter.

Once in a while my car decides to stuble and fall on its face and loose all power pretty much. Then it jerks and gets back on it.

When i told someone that when i take off my gas cap it hisses alot, every time, they told me that could be part of the problem, true?

Any help. Please!

Yeah but it might be from the fact i dont have rear o2s and my oil pressure sensor is effed. I need it scanned soon i know that but no autoparts stores around me borrow them out.

EDIT: and hes my boss, him and a customer were both talking about thats how it gets before it vaporlocks.

Well the DTC's should be a starting point. Rear O2s don't have any effect on engine performance but I think you knew that.

Could be pump or the filter, Is your Opti new or old? Filter would be the best place to start, $8 and you know that could or could not be it.

Well best way to test the fuel system is to simply hook up a pressure gauge. Only problem is, most of the time you have to check it at the rail and then that adds the regulator as a variable. So that could be faulty too. The coil is an easy test, just pop the wear off and have a buddy crank the engine. I've heard about a weak coil but in my experience, the coil is working or it is not.

So by what you guys are saying its prolly fuel issues b/c the coil works or dosnt. What about ICM?

Must be the season for this kinda problem cause it sounds like the same damn thing I am going through right now. Just had a tune up and randomly falls on its face when you get on it. today it just stalled out on me for no aparent reason. Crap like this makes me just want to take out a loan and buy a new LSx and the entire drivetrain to go along with it... but I probably won't escape problems and only create different ones.
