Yeah I know you could hear it prime and quit but I figured it still had juice going to it....... Never been back there though, I guess it has a relay that shuts it off?

shut the door, roll the windows down...you can pull the key all the way out and it will stay on....easiest way to stop the ding

It is a pretty tacky door chime, but it's an F-Body from the 90's what do you expect? I would leave it in there it will save your battery when you forget about those lights.

ya remove the panel below the steering wheel, and toward the left side there is a bigger brown box looking deal... pull that out and your dinging problem will be gone...

Mine quit working when I put in the aftermarket CD player. It still works for my lights but not the doors.

I cant remember how it is on my camaro, but on my grand prix you can just push the latch in by finger. I believe i used to just wedge something against that little button. Its been months since ive actually been inside my camaro.

or take the column apart and pull out the white little clip with two terminals hanging from it. but you have to take the lock cylinder and all apart when you do it. i had to replace my cylinder anyways, so i went ahead and snatched that POS out. or get on the matco truck, KD tools makes a "DOOR BUZZER SANITY TOOL" <-- seriously what its called
