Man That was just a couple I picked. You have had good luck with more power to you. Its the name of the game when you mod that is the chance your taking.I was just saying they have had problems.

I believe you, I dont think spec is the best clutch. Just have had good luck thats all. They did have some problems with some models, but I thought that was resolved. Personally I thought they were one of the better clutches for stock peddle pressure with good holding capacity. I respect your opinion no worries!

Like has already been said you won't find a good clutch under $300. I've only had it in for a few hundred miles, but FWIW I have been very happy so far with my RAM Powergrip, which runs about $500. Very streetable, grabs like a clamp, etc. I get some slight chatter on takeoff at times, but revving a little higher seems to fix it. Note that my gearing is stock. My only complaint is that the t/o bearing is LOUD, but I have heard that complaint about other clutches before as well. As far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with it other than the noise.

i agree with everyone else. 300 dollars or even less is cheap garbage. If your looking for a good clutch they start around 600 and up. Ram clutches are probably the least expensive for something that is fairly durable. I've seen them for about 4-500. Personally tho i'm looking at the dual friction centerforce clutch, last time i checked it was 650.

because a factory replacement from advance auto is only about 20 dollars less than a zoom so im thinking i would be better off with a stock, reputable brand clutch than some no name advance clutch. see my reasoning? why not look around and do some research on the best brand if its gonna cost the about the same as others, hence the "what is the best clutch kit for under $300" title

It sounds like a Zoom would be exactly what you're looking for.

the zoom or ram hdx will probably be fine if you are still stock and don't race it a lot. If either one of those is not the case, you should step up to a better quality piece.
