I have never heard of using DOHC on and OHV engine, thats new to me! And it also make me wonder... Whats the point?! Unless its sole purpose is to just be different. I could think of so many different ways to spend money to be different. But it must out flow LT1 heads any day of the week.
Also if you were going to go throw the pains of engineering DOHC heads for a chevy small block or LT1, why not develop LSX derived heads for it instead? That would grow much more enthusiasm, following, profit since I feel as though more people would be interested in that...

number of things. water pumps suck, the housings leak also. carbon build-up on pistons, cause a knock and oil consumption. intake gaskets **** out a bunch, also the boot/gasket between throttle body and intake leak ALL the time. leak oil like crazy. have to remove engine to do just about any extensive work to the motor itself. just about anything you have to do to a northstar is a pain in the ***, and to ice the cake the cars that they come in are garbage. Deville, Aurora, new Buick Lucerne... (but the last statement is a whole different story) i will quit sidetracking on this thread, i could vent all day.
