Yeah. Only use the shaft rockers for specific race-oriented setups. The pro mags are damn good rockers. There are better ones, but usually prohibitively expensive.

these are the same design as the comp cams, I run the 1.65 ratio NSAs in my LT1, they are great, and alot more economically friendly if you know what I mean

Probably not, or your lifters are bad.

Im running Morel lifters, and Jesel SS shafts. Valvetrain is super quiet, and noticed a nice SOTP improvement over the Comp R's and roller rockers. I will NEVER run Comp stuff again.

I wish I knew if the Crane Gold 1.6's SA (P# 10759-16) would be fine for a stock motor (see sig). I get so many different opinions on them. They're fine, they suck, they're fine, they are ***** :\

The reason I'm so questionative, is because I own a new, unused set of them. Just looking at them new, they're pretty

They are noisy and you wont be able to quiet them down, thats just how they are. Make sure you have the lt-4 knock module with these or your pcm is going to pull hella timing!!!

I have over 2yrs on my pro mags and they're just fine. Mine must be the only quiet set even at 1/4 turn

I can almost gurantee that your promags are noisy compared to stock. Mine arent obnoxious loud, but if you put your head next to the valve cover you can hear them clicking or whatever you want to call it.

mr king, I wasn't comparing them at all to the sound of a stock rocker. I was commenting on the fact that quite a few people say the promags sound like a sewing machine, from afar. Like I stated, the set i've been running for over 2yrs now even at 1/4 Turn preload, are very quiet Must be that fancy oil I run..

I have been thinking about going with 1.6 rocker arms for my car and since im doing all that work might as well change the springs to. any suggestions on valve springs?
