Default Running 9.5's and header problems

i have the folowing mods in my sig......lots of ppl on here say i should be running like 7's with stock stall and gears in the 1/8th.......im running 9.5 and getting beat by stock trans am someone tell me whats up or if ppl are b'sing me....


it stumbles really bad and while driving its really poppy.......

also i have a bad header leak i have changed gaskets 3 times now and still leaking so i did it the dumb *** way and put 5 min steel around the header will it hurt anything cus im not leaking anymore.

well I think you answered your own question, get the stumble and the exhaust leak fixed and go from there

You should be mid 8's maybe. But fix the stumble first. That is probably part of your problem.

The exhaust leak is causing a lot of trouble. The car won't run smoothly with a big leak. It will also set off the knock sensor big time, pulling a lot of timing. You say you have LT4 intake. Did you know that the ports are higher on it than an LT1 intake? Well I certainly hope you have LT4 heads because the ports will be off quite a bit which will affect airflow into the motor. Did the person who made the chip for you (Harris), make it based on what you have in the car right now? The tune is probably suspect too, if you are running mid 9's. You should be mid 8's, with everything working properly.
