I know I'll be taking a week off from my co-op job to come out for this. Its a 1000 mile drive for me one way cause I'm coming all the way from Delaware. Can you say ROAD TRIP!

As far as who I race, it doesn't matter to me, I'm just looking forward to having a good time and meeting everybody.

And as far as who I would like to see race, I wanna see Fran (Frans96SS), from RPM here in Delaware, race anybody cause that would mean his car is done and I can't wait to see what it does

I was tempted to try that one because money is about to get scarce. It's time to pick up and pay for the heads, I paid 50% of the short block and the remaider will be do in about 3 weeks. The cam and valvetrain is about half of what my short block cost, then I still need the cage.

I hope my wife isn't keeping tract of all this. Could get ugly around here.

Not only is it a solid roller, the shop wants to go big. Which isn't a bad thing just a little costly.

I'm planning on running the Heads-Up N/A class and hope to make the 32 car count. Hopefully, I can hang with most of the cars in that class. Also, I plan to run the 12.49 and faster bracket class.

Like everyone I've got some off-season upgrades on the car to get done before next season (I also run the NHRA Summit series). Also, I've got to put the mufflers back on for the Shoot-Out and I'm not sure how that will affect everything. I had some N/A 10.80s and 10.90s with dual open collectors.

I'd love to come play...if someone wants to tow me from Texas

10.8's on motor...sub 9.50's on gas. Stock PCM...car should be legal for "Extreme Stock".

I know this event is really about "braggin' rights", but I just can't afford the trip for a shot at only $300. But I certainly appreciate what the organizers are doing !! I just wish it was closer to home.

The payouts are just estimates. With more participation the payouts will be higher. Would love to see your car there.

I plan on being there, and plan on making a damn good showing to try and break the bolt-on record, but the last I talked to Shon he does not have the car setup as a bolt-on ca any longer...

But it would be fun to compete against someone else while trying to break the record in front of the LT1 community...

yes i am,, see this is what i mean about having a seperate class for the nitrous all out cars,, they will be competing for the record, but they have no business racing 7 second turbo cars. you see what im saying,, there should be a seperate class for nitrous class.. otherwise ill just sign up, get landed on by a turbo car,, and then try for the record,,, it just doesnt make sense to have all out nitrous car running against all out turbo cars..

the record will def be changed..
