will a t56 out of a ls1 fit my lt1 is the bellhousing different.

Yes the Housing is different, and the Imput Shaft's are different.

so just get a lt1 trans it be a lot easier right.

yea unless u have some reason for using the LS1 like maybe you already have one but even then you could sell it and get an LT1 tranny. or you could buy my auto

It's a whole lot easier to just use an LT1 T56. The basic tranny is the same, but everything between the gears and the crank shaft is different for an LS1 car.
