Simple Green and a rag, Also q-tips for those hard to reach corners. A Air hose to get any pesky water and something to keep it shiney.

I didnt mean cleaning it to make it shine! what i meant is removing stuff from the engine that is not important & will make room.
Thanx for replying anyways.

Remove the AIR pump, thats that black round electric motor by your air intake. Removing that cleans up the engine bay alot. You will not pass emissions after this and you will have to program this mod out of the pcm or ses light will be on. It will not affect performance. Also when you remove the pump, you have to remove the lines going to the exhaust manifolds and cap them off.

Woops I am sorry.

Well start by removing the emissions stuff, you can delete the heater box and a/c unit.

I have seen some people actually tuck all the wires under the fender and out of the way.

on my 94 if you just left the relay in the fuse panel it thought it was still there but as soon as you take it out it gave you the ses light.

i've seen guys relocate their batteries to the rear, and relocate their alternators down underneath. the PCM wires can be tucked underneath the fenderwell. certain pieces can get chromed for a cleaner look. i've also seen some relocate their fuel lines back behind the intake manifold. i've seen very few disassemble their brake lines from the M/C and route them a little neater. most of the vaccuum lines can also be tucked in a way that looks neat. a lot of it isn't "what you can remove" but "what you can reroute" instead.

as well as his battery, all the harness is re-routed, overflow tank is hidden, computer is hidden, junction box is hidden, heater box is gone

I re-routed some f my harness under the fender, re-routed the fuel lines, and since have deleted my abs unit and ac. My next tear down will go as far as the silver car but the silver car is in the process of removing even more from sight
