ok guys i put my car on a smoke machine and found buncha leaks..many were tiny tiny but there was a vac line i blocked that came loose...

the guy i used it said my intake gaskets were leaking because there was smoke comming out of the oil breather? i said i dont think that would cause that its the pvc valve making it come from there and he said no???????????

but it was leaking from the opti (vac harness) tiny leak...leaking from the t/b blade that goes through the t/b it was on the throttle cable side i think theres a bearing ther and its leaking? i dont know of any way to fix that one? but also a TINY leak..

think thats it...i fixed my blockoff and it idles and runs better but still kinda rough and still hangs now at about 1300 when i stop at a light then it comes down to 1000 and is rough...any more ideas? isnt my pvc valve whats causeing the smoke in the crankcase?

You idle would change a little applying the brakes since it's using vacuum, but not 2-300 rpm. Unless your repeatedly pressing it really quick and hard. The plastic 90* elbow on the brake booster line is a one-way check valve. See if it is letting air through both ways.

The PCV line on a 95 routes to the front of your intake. http://shbox.com/1/pcv_pipe.jpg
My 94 just does a u-turn and uses the vacuum port next to it.

ok thats how my vac port is...i might change it to the 94 way and black the passage under the t/b.....

i didnt know thats a 1 way chack valve....i knew it was an elbow never payted attention to it...but yea i though 2-300 rpm was too much thats why i mentioned it ill look into it...this thing is annoying driving around idleing at 1500 rpm
