Default W-Body Rims on F-Body?

Saw a 05 or so Bonneville V8 today and I liked the rims that were on it, and seeing as I probably will have to get at least one rim, if I can't find another salad shooter I'll need 4. Don't know the availability on them, but I have a feeling lots of idiots will be putting big rims on their V8 Bonnies because that's 'cool' and all.

So, the question, will they fit and have appropriate off-spacing?

Dankoo.

they might, but i know for a fact on the new Grand Prix GXPs (i know its a different car than you mentioned) the rims are 8 inches wide for the fronts and 7 inches wide out back...So the biggest tire you could run on the 18x8 would be a 255, so if your not concerned with tire width, you should be ok. Its gonna be hard to find four 18x8s though...I still can't find any offset or backspacing info though...

If that link doesn't work, it's the black Bonnie GXP on this page

those are the same ones that are on the red car, just a different angle...saw them on a silver one today, looked pretty good, but definitely not wide enough for my tastes...

Well, I would never get anything bigger than a 255, or run any drag-oriented tire. If I ever want slicks of any sort, my friends race oval track cars, and they have used ones Then again they're probably 15" rim.

If the Bonnie's rims are actually 18", then it might be a little bit too much for me. I feel 17" is plenty big for rims, and not only that, anything bigger really starts to sap power and MPG

i get what ur saying, i am gonna run 255/50/16 on my stockers for the track, and i have staggered 17, 18 c5 wagon wheels, which actually feel about the same weight as my stockers...

You'd need some mad adapters to get them to work. backspacing will be way off and so will bolt pattern.
