Sprayed bolt-on lt1 (vids) hey guys this is my bolt-on lt1 with a 150 shot., also my motor pass was 12.66 with a 1.79 60s car wasn't hooking that good the other nite. This will be my last race of the year i will be putting a cam in it and trying for 10s on the gas. (My car has went 7.31 in the 8th mile with a 1.62 60 at 96mph in the 8th so I wasn't having a good nite at MMSP and my best motor pass is a 7.85 wit a 1.62 60 at 87mph.) thanks for looking

MMSP is about 2 hour drive from my house so I dont go there much. We only have 8th mile track in my home town. so thats what i do. I have 28-11.5 ET Streets

Reason I am asking cause I was running 90+ mph in eigth on 100 shot with hotcam and p/p LT4 heads with 4.10 gears on 17' DR's.
Hey man your car runs good do you mind explaining your setup in more detail to me also like fullweight? What cam/heads? Gear?Tire? Nitrous kit?

Stock heads/cam full bolt ons. I have 1.6 rocker, 918 springs, 58 bbk, PTC 3500 stall, 373 gears, K-member, LT Y pipe, LCA,RLB, UMI TQ arm, Nx wet kit, tuned by pcmforless.com welds in the front out back got some 28.11.5 ET Streets My car wieghts about 3500 to 3700 with me in it. My car on a mustang dyno made 242rwhp317rwq on motor. On a 150 shot made 338rwhp-417rwq, it was a lil low i think for what my car runs but who cares about dynos lol I like ET more. Thats about all i can think about. Thanks guys John

His car is hooking extremely well with a low 1.6 60ft. Thats really helping your car et so well also. I say their is more power to be had by tuning it. I'm sure the jets are rich and the timing could be reduced to net some lower 11's.
