Changing from Synthetic to Regular Oil-Problems?

Changing from Synthetic to Regular Oil-Problems? Well, after doing an oil change and reading that Mobil One synthetic will cause leaks in our LT1's, can i change back to regular or something else that will not cause my engine to sprout leaks everywhere? Or am i SOL?
when i first talked to a mechanic when i got my car i asked if there was a way to tell if the guy was running synthetic. he said no and that it doesnt matter if u switch back. i would wait untill someone else chirps in. im not sure if a switched from syn. to dinasor oil but if i did i have no problems
I have always been told that if you switch from petoleum based oil to synthetic there is no harm, but once you use synthetic oil you can never switch back or you will cause leaks. I do not know if this is true that is just what I have always been told.

Synthetic oil is born from conventional oil. Chemists remove certian molecules from the conventional oil and that is what makes it synthetic. You can change from convetional to synthetic whenever you want without any problems. You can even mix them together. And as for your leaks they were going to occur regardless of the type of oil used.
