Default Rev limiter

Is there any way for me to change my rev limiter? Like maybe with a hypertech or something? I desperately need to change it and I don't have enough money to get it retuned. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hypertech is garbage and cost more then proper reprogramming which is your only option.

The guy told me it was free for as long as I own the car but I cant ever get ahold of him. And I cant afford to get it retuned somewhere else.

You are positive that they can move the limiter? I need to find someone around here with a hypertech.

If you are going to try a second tuner I would encourage you to consider pcmperformance or madz28

There was a time when I used pcmforless but many screwups and bad service caused me to look elsewhere, currently using Jeff Creech but he is not as budget oriented as you are looking for, the other two are more budget friendly and I would trust them, have spent money on pcm repair with madz28 and was pleased. Met Alex from pcmperformace and in an hour conversation and from friend's experiance feel fine recommending him.

On a retrofit I would have used a 94-5 obd 1 pcm with it's cheap tuning and logging software.

I have a 1995 pcm. I will look at getting one of them to retune my computer. Thanks for the info.
