Default price on lt4 intake?

A buddy of mine is thinking about selling his lt4 intake. We were just wondering how much they go for, or if it is worth trading for a ported lt1 intake. He will be putting his heads on soon and will be needing to get rid it.

well edelbrock is making a lt4 intake now that is like 450, if it is stock you could probably see about 250, if it is ported probably pretty close to the 450.. just my opinion.

It really depends on what head you wanna run, if you were selling this when the LT4's were stopped being produced and the aftermarket intake had not come out you, you could make a killing!

Search Ebay for what you can expect.

Internally the LT4 intake is the same as the LT1 intake, just has more material to seal to the taller ports in LT4 heads. We have covered this many times but people still want to believe it is special.

That's why he's gonna sell it, reap money, and then use his LT1.

said he was putting heads on, did not say specifically LT1 or LT4.

Far as the price, depends if you find someone stupid enough to think it is magical then you can get a lot.

I never said that we were trying to make a killing. I was just asking how much he should ask for it and that was it. We are putting his ported lt1 heads back on it soon and will need a lt1 style intake.we were just trying to figure out how much of differance there is bettween a ported lt1 and a stock lt4.
