So, did you start with a maroon car and go black, OR, a really dark red/maroon color? It looks black to me in the photos but had to ask. Just wondering if you did the door jams, engine bay, ect.. I'm curious what the paint cost as well. Looks really good! 
it was Maroon in color with the black top...now it is all Mercedes black... It cost me a fair amount with evrything painted door jams,inner trunk area, inner doors. i did not paint the engine bay becaue i had pained it flat black when i did my first build. pm me if u want the paint shop info they are in So. Cal and do some good work.. he is also giving my Z06 a face lift refreshing the Electron blu which i am excited to see. Thanks

Hopefully you don't mind, but how much did you pay to have it painted black? Any bodywork done to it beforehand? Did you just roll it in as is and they took care of everything including prep? What kind of paint and clear, anything special?

the car was not in the worst shape had some dimples along the back fenders and now it just looks like a black mirror. i thought my Z06 turn heads but this one is an eye catcher. he sanded down the whole car then primed and painted it. not sure on the paints but I am sure it was excellent. He did a paint job on my vette about months ago and it still looks good. this shop just opened up so they are doing high quality jobs and low prices just to get customers like me rolling in. Thanks for the comments....
