Looks nice but why only a 2900 stall?

I'm going to agree with the poster who asked why so low of a stall...My 383 has a smaller cam than the LE2 stuff and I ran the Vig 3600 for 10 years...Just had it re-stalled to 4000...the 3.73s are nice, but I'd also look at 4.10s with a 28" tire if you are going to drag race with it...I switched to 4.10s and picked up almost 2 mph, crossing the traps at 6500 with a 28" tire, converter locked...It all depends what you are going to do with the car...I like to drive mine alot and am very particular about its drivability, but still want kick *** drag strip results...

I'm trusting the car builder on the stall. We originally set out for a daily driver and wanted to keep some gas mileage (that's changed along the way a bit). He built another identical car to my setup thats getting around 20 mpg with sensible driving. I get 1 free reflash on it if I don't like it, so we will see. As for the 28" slicks/3.73 gears, once again trusting his judgement. I plan to spray around a 200 shot down the road and he thinks this setup will have perfect gearing. As for the shitty pic, that's my bad-I changed the size to fit my avatar pic and it also changed the one in the thread. I'll repost it in a few. Also the only pic I have right now, I just snapped a quick one with my phone while at the shop yesterday.

I was thinking N/A...for nitrous the 3.73 should be fine and the 2900 stall may work better for nitrous...How big is the cam?

He said it will stall around 3500 on nitrous. Cam specs are:

Duration:
Intake: 224˚@ .050”
Exhaust: 230˚@ .050”

Lift:
Intake: .536”
Exhaust: .544”

Lobe Separation:
112

Looks good..You are one of the few folks who stayed small with the cam choice...Mine is also small at 226/234 @ .050 with .568" lift on a 111 lsa and flat out flies...I would usually suggest a wee bit more lift than you have, but you're going to spray it so you're fine...Good luck with everything..

That makes more sense, 3500 would be closer to where you would want it to be.
